24″ Black Iron Split BBQ and Griddle Chapa

The most versatile chapa yet — a split design that combines both barbecue grid and solid griddle plate in one. Two semi-circular plates lock together to create a 24" (60 cm) cooking surface, giving you the best of both worlds: authentic chargrilled flavour on one side, and a flat griddle for eggs, pancakes, and smaller dishes on the other. 

A chapa is a traditional flat iron griddle, rooted in Argentinian Gaucho cooking. Designed for use directly over fire or charcoal, it delivers searing heat for meat, vegetables, breads, and more. Tough, versatile, and communal — the chapa turns any flame into a feast.

The split design makes cooking adaptable: sear and grill on one side while keeping food warm or cooking differently on the other. Each half can be moved aside for fire management, making it easy to refuel mid-cook. Pre-seasoned with natural flax oil and built from heavy-duty black iron, this split chapa is built for serious fire cooks.
