24" Black Iron Split Chapa Griddle Plate

The original fire cook’s griddle, reimagined for serious outdoor feasts. Two semi-circular black iron plates pair together to form a 24" (60 cm) cooking surface, designed to handle flames, coals, and charcoal. A chapa is a traditional flat iron griddle, rooted in Argentinian Gaucho cooking. Built for use directly over fire, it delivers searing heat for meat, vegetables, breads, and more. Tough, versatile, and communal — the chapa turns any flame into a feast.

The split design brings practical advantages: sear at high temperatures on one side while keeping food warm on the other, or separate meat from vegetables with ease. Each half can be moved aside for refuelling, making it simple to tend the fire beneath. Pre-seasoned with natural flax oil and built from heavy-duty iron, this split chapa is as functional as it is enduring.
